Spring Break is a fun time for families to travel, but if you are planning a staycation it's a great opportunity for kids to participate in a Spring Break Camp. Whether you are working and need a safe place for the kids to have fun during the day or just want some extra activities to keep them busy during their week off from school, you will find a lot of Spring Break activity options in Whatcom County.

2026 Bellingham Parks & Rec Spring Break Camps
A week off from school? Let’s play games, make fun things, and be silly all week at camp!
Campers should:
-Wear closed-toe shoes
-Bring a full water bottle
-Dress for the weather (jackets)
-Bring lunch and snacks (allergen notice: we recommend sunbutter instead of peanut butter)
Campers might do an optional Polar Plunge -- bring swim suit, extra shoes, and a towel!

Our spring camp combines artistic expression with exciting seasonal themes, offering age-appropriate art activities in a warm, engaging environment. ✨Toddler Experience (18mo-4)
- Our Toddler Experience combines music, art, and play in a nurturing environment designed for our youngest learners! This is a parent-child participation program (not a drop-off). Join us for three morning classes with Zannie (Mon-Wed), plus a special Friday family event where all classrooms and the playground are open for exploring and mingling!
- 10am-11am
- Monday-Wednesday. April 6-8th
🌱 Little Sprouts Studio (Ages 2.5-4)
- Nurturing morning sessions perfect for the youngest artists
- 8:30 AM - 3pm
- Step into a world of wonder where our youngest artists explore creativity through gentle, spring-themed adventures! This is a drop-off program.
🌺 Budding Artists (Ages 3.5-5)
- Pre-K creative adventures
- Full Day: 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- Watch your child's creativity bloom in our Budding Artists studio! Perfect for growing minds ready for kindergarten.
🎨 Art & Play Studio (Grades K-5)
- Dynamic creative experiences
- Full Day: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Elementary students dive into exciting art projects that challenge their creativity and technical skills!

Spring Camp at Common Threads Farm
A hands-on, science-based gardening and cooking camp for kids!
- Kids will grow and harvest fresh veggies,
