The Young Americans was established in 1962 with a mission to provide education, guidance and inspiration to young performers from any and all walks of life. They give aspiring entertainers the opportunity and courage to hone skills and expand their dreams. This cast has a Ferndale Alumni (former FHS drumline, swing choir and musical performer).
Each day of workshop is filled with enthusiasm, encouragement, and care culminating in one staged-performance. Their teaching style provides an encouraging environment for students to realize their potential and achieve the seemingly impossible goal of producing a fully-staged show in under a week.
