U-pick farms are a big part of summer and Whatcom County has some of the best strawberry, raspberry, and blueberry picking in the nation. There are many kid-friendly u-pick berry farms along with u-pick apple farms and pumpkin patches. We also have quite a few u-cut Christmas tree farms, which make it easy to create holiday traditions with your family.

Dan Cramer’s Western Town hosts events including birthday parties, weddings, company parties, and more! We can host events outside at our location located in beautiful northern Whatcom County where you can enjoy the open country with scenic mountain views. Inside, we can offer undercover events in our rustic, western-themed barn regardless of weather. Days/Hours: Stoney Ridge Farm is open Saturdays starting October 8th from 10am-5pm. They are open on Saturdays all of October.
Cost: Admission to the farm is $4.00 a person. Children 2 and under free.
What you need to know:
The Stoney Ridge Fall Festival kicks off on October 8 for its fall season. The kick-off event will feature two bands, Prozac Mtn Boys who will play from 11am-12pm and Queen’s Bluegrass who will play from 1-2pm. WECU will offer free admission for the first 500 WECU members who show their debit or credit card on October 8.
Admission includes the corn maze, wagon ride and farm animals.
The patch is full of gorgeous pumpkins and there is u-pick or we -pick Jonagold apples in the orchard. Fresh, pasteurized cider will be available. Our coffee shop will also be open with warm apple cider or pumpkin donuts to enjoy.
Cicchitti’s pizza truck and JT’s Smoking BBQ will be on the farm on Saturdays.
WECU will have the mobile ATM at the farm on Saturdays (the farm is cash or check only) there is no fee for members of any local credit union.

Days/Hours: Willetta Farm's Pumpkin Patch will be open on Sat. & Sun.10-5pm in October to the public. Starting Friday, October 9th they will be open from 10am-1pm on Fridays.
Cost: No admission fee
Pick your favorite pumpkin from the patch for carving or decorating. They will be offering pumpkin sales, baked goods, beverages including hot apple cider and homemade crafts. They will have horse drawn wagon rides and animal viewing.
What you need to know:
All the regular Covid requirements including masks, social distancing and hand washing/sanitizing. Remain home if sick and no pets.

Cleaarian berries include 3 varieties of blueberry; Early Blue, Blueray, & Blue crop.
Early Blues are the first variety to ripen and can usually be found ready early to mid July. Early Blues are Carol’s favorite berry. Blueray’s and Bluecrop’s come after, and are a larger berry than the Early Blues. These can be found ready mid July to early August and generally last until early to mid September. Their blueberry plants are over 30 years old, and are often told that we have the largest and best tasting berries in Whatcom County. Come try for yourself! They are open for U-Pick July 11th, 2022.

Koetjes Blueberries has been family run and owned for 25 years. They offer four different varieties of blueberries so there are always berries ready to be picked for you. Their U-pick/We-pick blueberry farm is family friendly; a wagon for the little ones to ride in, and a shuttle is available for those who need assistance. Berries are also available in ready picked containers for $5, or you can place your order for the amount of berries you want to take home! We pick $3 per pound, but if you come to pick, it is only $1 per pound! Please bring containers for transporting berries home.
