Mermaids visit beautiful Birch Bay State Park Saturday, April 27th!
It will be a fun-filled day for families with "Shell-fie" photos, stories and "under the sea" magic with our mermaid guests! Other activities include Story Times from Friends of Birch Bay Library and a Beach Walk with Friends of Birch Bay State Park and Blaine Birch Bay Park and Recreation District 2.
This event is FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
The mermaids are "The Pond Maidens of New England" and are visiting from the East Coast. Pond Maidens is a small group of folx determined to bring inclusive magic to the rural areas of New England.
Thanks to Birch Bay Leisure Park, Pond Maidens of New England, Blaine Birch Bay Park and Recreation District 2, Friends of Birch Bay State Park, Friends of Birch Bay Library, and Whatcom County for making this event possible.
